Hey Everybody, Happy New Year!

We had a great December to finish the year here at ABLE Day Program! We have had a lot of great winter-based learning activities this month. We had a nutritional food scavenger hunt at the Rim Rock Wal-Mart which taught us about making healthier choices nutritionally. We went to a local pet store to learn about how to appropriately and safely treat animals and as always, musical integration and art appreciation were a big success. We also had a holiday party/open house which we all enjoyed and I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who stopped by to watch us sing, dance, and have a good time!

Our volunteer programs continue to do well; Catholic Outreach, Salvation Army, and Food Bank continue to provide us with a means to give back to our community and we are grateful for that opportunity.

Again, just a reminder, PLEASE make sure to send everyone with a jacket, sweater, or coat as it continues to be VERY chilly.

Also, please keep anyone who is sick at home. We are trying our best to keep everyone healthy and keep those germs away!

Please be sure to check out the Attached January calendar as we have a lot of fun and exciting things planned!

As always, we would like to thank the families and host home providers for making ABLE a continuing success. Please let us know if you have suggestions, questions, or comments we would love to hear from you.

Have a great January!
