Hey everybody!

We are having a great summer at ABLE. We toured KJCT news station, we began our garden and we had several rewarding volunteer outings. We will be donating our garden vegetables to the Grand Valley Catholic Outreach.

We are only beginning our fantastic summer! On July 2nd, we will be having a Barbeque in celebration of the 4th of July. July 13th and 21st, we will be going to the Grand Junction Math and Science Center. July 14th, we will be celebrating all of our birthdays for the month and we will be having a party! On July 23rd, we will be going to the Mesa County Fair.

Remember as the weather continues to get hotter, drink lots of liquids and please wear sunscreen, to avoid sunburns. Hats and sunglasses are also welcome additions.

Please make sure to send a water bottle or a sports drink as we don’t want anyone to get dehydrated. Extra water and cups will also be provided by ABLE.
