ABLE is a fun, warm and welcoming place. ABLE day programs are geared toward personal growth, consistency, and choice. ABLE implements positive behavioral supports, engages people in meaningful activities, and structures the environment for success. We take pride in our clean facilities with open designs. We take great care in hiring the best in the business.

ABLE has two locations: Thornton & Grand Junction. Open Tuesday-Friday @ 8am-4pm, closed Mondays. Door-to-door transportation is provided if the person’s residence is near the facility. Activities are developed to educate, integrate, and invigorate. Email us to request an activity calendar.

ABLE pays for most activities: let’s go bowling, visit libraries, tour museums, get active at the gym, etc. Base-site activities teach sign language class, chair yoga, karaoke, dancing, seasonal celebrations and so much more.

ABLE is dedicated to ensuring each person in service has a meaningful day program experience, tailored to their unique level of supports.

  • Persons interested in more time out in the community will now enjoy their community-based activity for one more hour each day.  This enables groups to travel longer distances while trying out more activities. Base site classes will still be offered as well.
  • Persons interested in a blended day program will enjoy a day split between community time and recreational facility-based activities. This is a great option for individuals who benefit from increased ADL support. They can build up their stamina touring their community with extended periods of rest between activities.
  • Persons desiring facility-only activities will now enjoy additional person-centered activities with more individualized care.
